was a difficult contest to judge. I consider all of the

talents throughout the semester.

12/01/08 - ASSIGNMENT - Shoot an artistic
automotive photograph and enhance it into a dramatic
digital composite. This is the first assignment where the
students seriously combined what they have learned
about photography, and are beginning to think digitally
as they shoot different elements to combine into a final
image. Once again, the students are showing great
creative vision, as well as a good understanding
of Photoshop! Well done!

11/04/08 - ASSIGNMENT - Think about texture and
light, and shoot a dramatic representative photo.
These shots also show the first efforts with Photoshop.
Once again, the students are demonstrating their
vision, and are showing good feel for composition
and dramatic, eye catching images. There are
additional images still to be added to this gallery.

10/15/08 - ASSIGNMENT - Think about light &
shoot a portrait with lighting in mind. If possible,
do with and without flash. The resulting images
are quite interesting, but need some practice with
lighting. Not bad for a first try. The shot featured
here is by Yorgo. Not a portrait ( of people ),
but good use of light and of shooting at long
exposure and having to stabilize the camera.
